In Short – This hotel's warm yellow, Italianate Victorian-style facade is both refined and welcoming, while the interior reflects the home's rich architectural history. Among its notable features is the rooftop balustrade deck. Bedrooms are prettily decorated, and the Bowman Suite is a standout. It is a lovely example of understated elegance, with its painted open-beam ceilig, collection of family antiques, gauzy curtains and ornate wooden headboard. Heated tile floors highlight the baths in each of the rooms.

Stayed for just a night, but wished we stayed longer! Wonderful house, fabulous food, and terrific hosts. Will return again!

There is a house dog, but no pets or children under 10 are allowed, so leave fido and the kids at home.

Guests have access to an enclosed second-floor balcony. A nice introduction to local history can be found in the foyer and formal staircase area, which is adorned with 14 murals depicting late 19th-century life in Lancaster County.
