That 30 year old woman must have thought she gets free auto service. 26 dollars is reasonable for someone to look at your car for a half hour. A lot of places will have a minimum of 1 hour service charge. I've taken my car here for 3 years. The mechanics are always up front with me with what I need done.

are you joking. 25 dollars to stop what they were doing take her car for a drive find the problem and fix it she should be greatful sounds like she is used to mommy and daddy fixing everything for her free of cost even at thirty she has plenty of growing to do nothing is free and with the average cost of just a diagnosis much more then 25 i would be thanking them with a hand shake and a smile by the way i have used this garage for many of my cars and its one garage that is atleast honest fair and curtious thank you

Great service. We have been taking our cars to this garage for years. They are very efficient and have a quick turn around with repairs. The service here is great and the employees are trust-worthy and customer friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good, honest mechanic:)

Good quality service, and affordable. I have been taking my cars to East Pete Garage for over 7 years. Their courteous service at a reasonable rate have me going back to them over and over again. I have been screwed by garages in the past, but never from East Pete. And the rates are definately below the norm for this area. I continue to recommend East Pete Garage to my friends and co-workers, plus it is conveniently less than two miles from work.

Rip- Off Report. I stopped in this garage to have them find the source of a sqweeking noise coming from the front of my car.

The staff took it for a test drive, and found the source of the problem to be a hood hinge after about 15 minutes of looking.

I was charged $26.50 for this garage to put about three cents worth of lubricant on a hinge.

Naturally I complained about the bill before being forced to pay it. The owner said his boys spent about twenty five minutes working on my car. This was not true. I pointed out that the mechanic that fixed the noise was talking with other customers for almost ten minutes before he handed the repair bill to the boss.

The boss said he was not aware of this. I even called later that evening to ask if there was a mistake with the bill. I was assured that there was not.

DO NOT GO TO THIS GARAGE. Based on what I was charged to have a hinge lubricated a standard oil change by my calculations would cost hundreds of dollars here. NEVER AGAIN will I stop at this joke of a garge for maintenance.

I am thirty but am cursed by looking much younger due to my baby face and stature. i wonder if this had anything to do with my outrageous service bill.

$26.50 to lubricate a hinge!!! Does this sound fair and resonable to you???
