hole in the wall. Me and my husband went to eat there on a Friday night,the food was good, but it was a dark gloomy place not to well lit. The staff was not friendly and very gossipy. It was more of a biker bar not too impressed. I heard of this place before and wanted to try it, i could have done without.

Food Good, Service Not So Much. My husband and I went to Rock Hill last Saturday for dinner and drinks. Hubby had steak, which was cooked perfectly. I had a crab cake dinner which was also good.

Service in the dining room was just OK, the food was better than it used to be, but not anything to scream about.

After dinner we went to the bar are for some drinks. This is where the establishment really seemed to be lacking. The bar tender was rude and took her good old time getting drinks. It seemed that we were interupting her conversation with other employees by asking for a drink after 10 minutes of waiting. It was a little busy but nothing above any other time we were there when it was under the old ownership.

Finally after getting our drinks we went out on the "deck" which is more like a patio littered with ciggarette butts and disgruntled employees. Also pretty intoxicated redneck men cursing and carrying on. Mind you this is around 9:00.

We had to listen to the gossip of the small town from waitresses and grouchy bartender... complaining about owners and wives of owners. We smoked our ciggarettes quickly and got out of there.

I would suggest eating there but maybe not hanging out afterwards.

Best kept secret in Lancaster co.. Located in a charming 18th century historic stone tavern,tucked neatly away along the conestoga creek the Rockhill tavern is a delightful dining expierence with oodles of ambience ,and a fabulous and creative menue of appetizers and fresh made entrees. The burgers are Legendary. An appetizer of Baked Macaroni and Cheese with Crab and Asparagus is to die for . The steaks are generous, fresh seafood ,like the pan seared cod and Griled swai will make your dinning a five star expierence and what makes this a sweet deal are the reasonable prices and stellar service. The dress is casual and the service is warm and friendly .Enjoy !!!!!
