My favorite store to visit, when in Lancaster Area.
Hi, I was at Jake's Trading Post yesterday, and I have to say that I was thrilled to see all the new curtains and linens that have just come in. That was exactly what I was looking for. Jodi was so helpful. She pointed out all the new designs. My experiences at Jake's have always been favorable. It is just filled with so many country decorating items. Seriously, you got to go to Jake's.

I shop at Jake's all the time and the employees are always nice. I love all the new items they get in daily. Don't let a sour customer from Canada stop you from going there, a lot of companies do not ship to other countries.

The person who wrote this review is not giving all the information. She returned all the items that she purchased in a mess, the first time. Then she purchased others curtains, and also returned them in a mess. She tore all the informational tags off the curtains and stuck them on the curtain bags in a stack. This makes it difficult to put the merchandise back on the floor, in the same condition as she purchased them. She did hang them over Thanksgiving. I think that it is not neccessary to take all the tags off the product, if you are checking to see if you like it. She received a full refund as our return policy states. Personally, we did not want to sell her anything else, because of her disreguard of how she returned the purchases. Not exactly sure what she is talking about, as in doing something that the owner would get in trouble for. There was nothing else to say to her. End of story, she got a full refund.

I wouldn't shop here ever again if it was the last place on earth. I have never been treated so badly by an owner in all my life. I was humiliated in this store when trying to return curtains. I was told that I didn't fold them properly and removed tags which were clearly there on the package. The owner accused me of hanging them to serve dinner and then taking them back for a return among ather accustations. Not true at all, I hung the curtains in my home to see if I liked them and attempted to return them well within the 15 days stipulated on the receipt. The were very unprofessional and refused to accept the return of over $230 in merchandise. The owner actually went to the back of the store and refused to talk to me. When I asked the clerk if she was coming back up I was simply told, "she walked away before she did something she would get in trouble for!" Not exactly sure what that means, so I would be careful! They did not stand by their own terms written clearly on the receipt. Their prices are good, but remember, you get what you pay for!
