Thanksgiving dinner. An all you can eat dinner at the General Sutter in Litiz. Nice antique decor and historic building. First round of turkey was a little dry but returned and asked for freshly cut and it was excellent. Ran out of cranberry before our seating time. Few servers were working the dining room and had to ask for a water refill. Restroom clean with unique "woman" in tub.

An Exceptional General Sutter Experience. I held my wedding at the General Sutter Inn earlier this summer and I have nothing but great reviews to give. I love how the servers did not rush me in serving the food and allowed my guests and me to take some time between the courses to relax and socialize. The food was served hot and the quality was everything I have come to expect and love from the Inn. Not knowing how many of my guests would drink coffee I chose to have a coffee station and allow my guests to serve themselves which worked out perfectly. The coffee cups did not clutter the tables and my guests were able to get up and move around. The bartender was quick, efficient and personable. Overall my experience at the General Sutter Inn was excellent and I would recommend the facilities to anyone that asked me. If you are considering the General Sutter Inn, I would hope you would check it out yourself and see the service and quality of food the town of Lititz has become used to.

Bad service and obnoxious management, so don't bother. I highly advise against patronizing this inn and the obnoxious current management. My family recently held an event in the ballroom and received horrible service and mediocre food. The management was completely unapologetic and made my family pay the 18% service fee despite the fact that the overloaded servers were serving two banquets simultaneously, making the service at our event horrendous. We were not served our entrees until after 9 pm (at a banquet that began at 6pm). The bartender wasn't there half the time, the cake was served with the ice cream melted, and no coffee or tea was ever served. And the food was mediocre. Don't waste your money, and go elsewhere.
