Friendly First-Class Food. I was visiting my grandparents at the Willow Valley retirement homes right down the street and we HAD planned to go to their restaurant. However, when we asked an employee she directed us to the Willow Street Diner and recommended their chicken pot pie. When we got there we were greeted and seated with a friendly smile. The good vibes kept coming as the food was served in a timely manner. The food was ABSOLUTELY terrific. Chicken pot pie is HIGHLY recommended however you can only catch it on Sundays and i believe Wednesday. Less than $10 and that includes a salad so it is very reasonably price and i assure you will not be disappointed. We plan on going there every time we visit the grandparents!!!
best buffet in Amish country. I have no bias in favor of Willow Valley, to the contrary I find Bird-in-Hand Family Inn a more economical and quite comfortable place to stay. But facts are stubborn things and the fact is that Willow Valley has by FAR the best buffet in Amish country. If you get the discount coupons you can eat for about $16 per person. They featur excellent prime rib and steamed JUMBO shrimp. Their Amish dishes, eg pork and kraut and botboi (potpie) are also delicious. Just the facts ma'am.
