Best Indian food in town!
by Chocochicago
This food is delicious! It was our first experience with Indian food, and then we traveled to Toronto, Canada, where we tried a few different places.
So NOW I can attest: this food is GREAT and WELL WORTH the price! We save it for occasions of celebration (birthday, Mother's Day, etc.) because it is THAT good! You can get from 0 to 10 in your spiciness (a 0 is not hot at all, but FULL of flavor! and we were never brave enough to go above a 5... ;) So far everything on the menu we've tried is EXCELLENT, and if you want more of a variety then go there for lunch on a weekend day (for the buffet!) They will give you all you can eat of their most popular dishes. If you have kids who aren't afraid to try new things, there are even a few things on the menu for them- recommendation: Mango Chicken (from my 9-year-old!)
- Pros: Tikka Masala
- Cons: too long of a wait (only sometimes!)
Taste of Home!

As an Englishmen living in Lancaster I long for home cooking...that's right...Indian Food. I'm a regular at Taj Mahal (although I always get take out) and the Chicken Tikka Massala is truly excellent. These guys have the worst location known to man, but it doesn't stop them producing some great Indian food. Thanks lads!
(They also gave me a free beer when I arrived early to pick up my food one night)
- Pros: Chicken Tikka Massala, Chicken Vindaloo, Spinach Agoo
- Cons: Weird building, Tired decor
