Lancaster's best seafood restaurant!. My Dad's favorite -he turns 97 next month. Family Favorites are huge oysters on half shell, oyster pie, crab au gratin, and fried oysters. This is only place I know that even has oyster pie and it is phenomenal! My Dad's and my favorite. Loaded with oysters too. Glad to see it is reopening. Will be back for birthday 97!

The BEST !!!. The food !!! I know when it comes to Seafood in Lancaster County....I don't go anywhere else but Kegel's !! I only wish they were open more days ! I ate there last week after not having been there for several years due to working and living out of the area...but it tasted every bit as good as I always remembered !! I was in "Seafood Heaven" !!! Love their rolls and butter too...and the coleslaw. :) You can be sure I will be going back...and taking lots of friends !

BEST SEAFOOD in LANCSTER,PA.. Kegel's is GREAT for SEAFOOD!!! Has been in Lancaster for many,many years! It's quality is excellant! Kegel's has nice employees,and has always met board of health standards, with a clean place and an emaculate kitchen!! Kegels also cares for its patrons and its employees by NOT staying open late till all hours as it closes by 9 P. M. In my opinion, Kegel's has the BEST SEAFOOD in LANCASTER!! Always FRESH and plenty for the money, whichis VERY REASONABLE!!! SEE FOR YOURSELF! TRY IT!! knive3

Best soft shell crabs anywhere!. Kegels is known for its excellent seafood and cozy atmosphere. Their soft shell crabs are the best anywhere and I've had soft shells in Antoine's and Arnauds in New Orleans. The secret is they clean out the inside goop and saute them crisp!

Smells like fish fried in grease..... I found the owners to be pompous prigs and wouldn't feed a stray dog with their "seafood". The kitchen conditions are more disgusting than a trash-dump. I'm not exactly sure the staff is entirely legal, if you get what I mean. Furthermore, if you happen to live in the neighborhood, which I do, the smell that comes from that place would make the strongest stomach clench. Speaking of living in the neighborhood, their parking lot if full of dr*g dealers from 12am till 4am, this I have on surveilence camera. After speaking with the owner, she proceded to tell me that she had called the police, which is impossible since they are only present during business hours...So not only does their food taste horrible, they also don't care about customer safety....

Just a little food for thought...

Awesome Food. I indulged in the oyster pie. It was prepared expertly with almost a dozen oysters in it. The appetizers offered were incredible. There was such a variety of entrees that I debated for almost 1/2 hour what to get. Fortunately I wasn't disappointed and nobody in my party was either.

Simply the freshest and best !. The seafood is always fresh! Chef Jesse is always cooking up something delicious. The oysters are fresh and out of this world, but only served in season.(no canned crap there) The prices are incredibly reasonable too! Gotta try this place!
