Great food, great price, great time. My absolute favorite restaurant! I've never had a bad meal here and the service is always good. Love it - hope you're in business forever. Excellent if you're in the mood for something different but not outrageous. Love the Pollo Fundido! The atmosphere is fantastic - I love the little booths and sitting in one always heightens the dining experience when I'm there.

The diamond in the rough of Lancaster!. We went upstairs and tried a variety of foods that was fantastic. The fish of the day (rockfish) mixed with cucumbers and assortment of other veggies had a burst of flavor that was quite refreshing. Also, the packets of crab meat with a dip of avocado was also delectable. The fried avocado was a little bland, but the dessert and other options made the price worth it. Lastly, the building is unique and makes dinning there extra spectacular.

Everything is great. Food and service are always great, always consistent. Fun atmosphere. If you like mexican, you need to go.

Good tunes, good food, great service, powerful drinks.... I went to El Serrano on a crowded Friday night with my girlfriend and was seated immediatly in a private booth right next to a nice little water fountain. The place was packed but the service was great. Chps and salsa were very good but i feel the salsa needed a little more kick. We ordered drinks (sangriarita) which was a mix of a margarita and sangria, and let me tell you... two of these and i was good to go. Well made and delicious..the drinks were bad@ss. She ordered the taco salad, i ordered a combination plate and everything was excellent. If i have one thing to complain about it would be that my food came too fast, it litterally took about 7 minutes from when we ordered to get our food. Everything was hot, spiced right, and before i knew it, it was all gone. After drinks we took a walk into the bar area where there was a 3-man jazz band jammin out for a small crowd, seating was immediate there as well. Overall i thnk this place is awesome and i will be coming back for at least a few more dinners in the near future. I reccomend this place to everyone.

Great Mexican Food. Was seated quickly on a Friday night! Nice atmosphere, good and prompt service, great chips and salsa.

I AM IN *LOVE* WITH EL SERRANO. I went with a Peruvian friend and drove from MD . When we arrived, the parking lot was full and the building was very attractive. We went in and they were able to seat us right away, but the restaurant was full. We ordered a wonderful appetizer and drinks. The margarita was EXCEPTIONAL with fresh juices. Unlike any I have ever had! Had to order another round it was THAT good. Then we ordered food. WONDERFUL! The service was very good and fast. THE BEST was the music! Two musicians walked from table to table, playing guitars and singing...absolutely I fell in love with El Serrano! Cannot say enough and we are going back tonight. I really wish they had reservations! Nice details throughout including Listerine in the bathroom! The LOMO SALTADO is exceptional!

A nice, casual, fun place.
I really must highly recommend this restaurant. The biggest draw back is the wait, and they do not take reservations. Fortunately, there is a bar in which to wait, but that can get crowded.
The food is Mexican and Peruvian, and it is of a good quality. I do wish they would vary their menu periodically, but I guess they found something that works.
They recently remodeled, and it is a very nice atmosphere, although sometimes a bit noisy depending on where you are seated.

best hispanic food in lancaster. El Serrano is truly a very good restaurant. The food is amazing. Whenever we have a choice on where to go out to dinner, El Serrano is top of mind. They have good music at times, a nice atmosphere and very good chips and salsa. You get these before your main meal. Their margueritas, all flavors are full of fruit, and for the main meal, I like to get the combo platter to sample different foods. We love el serrano! ;<)
